Aaron Hockley correctly pointed out on his blog that it wasn't just Automattic that was missing from BlogWorld, but all of the major blogging platforms were absent this year.

Thank you, Darren. There really was some excellent content. I've got my fingers crossed that the videos turn out great so that we can provide the content to a much larger audience.

thanks for all your work John – you did a great job given some of the mess ups with scheduling that you had to deal with – it was a pity that more people were not aware of the WC sessions as the value delivered in those that I saw was excellent.

Yeah…thanks for the hard work on WordCamp and the Genius Bar…I had a great time hanging out and answering questions in person…I dont' think that can be beat when you're needing advise for information..

Hats off to you John for taking the time and effort to make WordCamp happen. As I said in Vegas, it was the addition of a Wordcamp weekend that cemented my decision to attend Blogworld again. Got some great ideas and loved the opportunity to get questions answered at the Genius Bar. You rock!

Great writeup. I share some of your observations on the lack of vendors from certain segments… honestly I was expecting more vendors on the expo floor. A big thanks to you for organizing the WordCamp track – you had a great variety of speakers sharing some excellent knowledge.
